Untangling Web 2.0 for Parents TONIGHT! Join us for this free event this evening, Friday, May 29 from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. Preston Trail's own Doug Darby, Director of New Media at Austin College, will address some of the issues facing the "connected" kids of today, including social networks, Youtube, texting and much more. Doug will spotlight some of the serious problems that exist with the lifestyle technology used by today’s kids at every age, and equip parents with tips and strategies to keep kids safe. It’s going to be a valuable parenting resource - be sure to invite a friend!

3D Parenting: Teens Join us as we wrap up our “3D Parenting” message series this weekend with a bang. Ryan Hairston, Preston Trail’s Director of Student Ministries, will draw from his years of experience to bring an important message on teens. We are welcoming our middle and high school students to worship with us this weekend; all our PTkids ministries will be opened as usual.

Laura Hairston CD Release, May 31: Join us in the PTCC Worship Center next Sunday, May 31 at 6:00 p.m. for the release of Laura Hairston's debut CD "Bigger Than Yourself." Check out her Web site, www.laurahairston.com for a sneak peak of the CD! At the release, Laura will perform all the songs from her CD with a full band, and all the proceeds from CD sales that evening go directly to benefit the kids of Casa Hogar Elim orphanage in Nuevo Laredo, Mexico. Grab some bringer cards from the Get Connected kiosk this weekend - it’s a great way to invite your friends!

Summer Lunch Program, June 15-19: PTCC’s Local Compassion Team partners for a week each summer with Frisco Family Services to provide lunches for under-resourced kids right here in Frisco. There are two ways you can get involved: first, come to PTCC in the mornings to help pack lunches; second, help deliver the lunches to three locations around Frisco. This is a great way for middle school & high school students to serve, as well as adults! Family Camp Deadline Extended: Join us this summer for Family Camp in Westcliffe, Colorado! Camp dates are June 27 to July 4. The Love Revolution Begins! Has there ever been a word more misused and maligned than 'love'? Forget what you think you know - at Preston Trail Community Church, we’re celebrating a Love Revolution! Through Jesus, we have experienced a radical, life-altering love. Join us this weekend for the start of our new message series, and learn how we are called to live out that love as we relate to God and other people. Paul will kick the series off this weekend by teaching how to love God with your everything. Don’t miss it!

2nd/3rd Grade Adventure Camp Meeting This Weekend: Parents, if your child is attending our 2nd and 3rd grade Adventure Camp next week, please join us this weekend in the Worship Center for a mandatory informational meeting. PTCC’s response to the swine flu: At Preston Trail, we are closely following the developing swine flu situation, particularly in light of our involvement with Casa Hogar Elim orphanage in Nuevo Laredo, Mexico. We are grateful to report that the kids at Casa Hogar are currently all healthy, and we are in the process of prayerfully determining how to best serve our friends across the border in the event of an outbreak. If you would like to know how we are taking steps to ensure your health at Preston Trail, please read this.

Join us this weekend for EASTER at Preston Trail! Services are Saturday at 5:00 & 6:30 p.m., Sunday at 9:30 & 11:00 a.m. Don’t forget that Saturday is the new Sunday - if you can, come celebrate Easter with us on Saturday to help make room for the many guests we anticipate on Sunday morning.

Parking alert: Our mission to help people find and follow Christ extends all the way to our parking lot! Because we anticipate lots of guests this weekend along with the possibility of inclement weather, we are asking any of our PTCC family who are able to park on Red Cedar Drive or in the new FISD Early Childhood School parking lot. Not sure how to get to Red Cedar? Here’s a map. Shuttles will run from Red Cedar and the Early Childhood School and deliver you to right to our rear entrance for all Easter weekend services. Tip: leave home a few minutes early to allow time to park and ride.

Easter SATURDAY is coming: Make your plans now to join us for Easter services on Saturday, April 11 at 5:00 or 6:30 p.m. If you want to help support the mission of PTCC in a significant way this Easter, celebrate with us on Saturday and give up your Easter Sunday seat for one of the many guests who will be coming to Preston Trail (possibly any church) for the first time. Our Easter Sunday services will remain at the usual 9:30 and 11:00 a.m. times.

New Saturday Service Time, Starting April 11! Beginning with our Easter Saturday service, we will be shifting our Saturday service time from 5:30 to 5:00 p.m.

Need a Job?
